Customized Professional Development Coaching
Customized Professional Development Coaching
The Instructional Technology department of the LHRIC uses a peer coaching approach to professional development. We continue to build capacity around supporting teachers and administrative in the most effective sustainable models possible and are committed to being current with our research and practice. The most successful example of the coaching model is the Model Schools Core Plus Cohort model.
In this cohort approach, our coaches work along side educators to think, reflect on current practices, build new skills, refine approaches, share ideas, teach each other, conduct research, and problem solve instructional and technical challenges. In the peer coaching model each member of the team brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and attitudes which is the recipe that makes this approach to professional development so successful.
Customized coaching models are available in a variety of flexible models across a multitude of topics. Why not contact us to see if we can help your professional development plans come to life!
