About This Service

There are several options available to provide a partial or holistic approach to professional development for districts in support of any expansion to the Cloud for their Microsoft Office implementation with the Office 365 cloud solutions. All professional development coaches assigned to these implementations hold current Microsoft Office 365 certification.

Model Schools Instructional Technology - We offer workshops, webinars, blended and flipped courses, on site MS Core Plus cohorts and customized professional development. The flexibility of these programs are well suited to meet the needs of teachers and administrators when implementing Microsoft Office 365 in the classrooms and schools. For information about professional development coaching, contact Leslie Accardo at laccardo@lhric.org or (914) 592-4203.

Model Schools Emerging Technology - This service provides on site certified administrators with Microsoft certification two or three days a week for a full year, or more. This service is well suited for districts that are moving to Office 365 for the entire district, an individual school or several grade levels at a time. It is designed to help stakeholders transition quickly while being fully supported in a job embedded model. For information about this service, contact Sarah Martabano.

Cloud Application Support (CARS) - This service, a partnership with the Instructional Technology Department and the Remote Support Services department, is designed to support the technical side of setting up (on boarding), implementing and supporting a district's Office 365 environment. This service includes planning and exploration meetings that help the district determine an appropriate scope and sequence for converting fully or partially to a Microsoft Office 365. For information about the technical aspects of setting up and supporting Office 365, contact John DiChiara at jdichiara@lhric.org or (914) 592-4203.
