About this Service

The Lower Hudson Regional Information Center now offers component school districts a unique technology service to provide a vision and a plan to effectively implement emerging technologies to support whole district learning. This program is available through the Model Schools CoSER.

Emerging Technologies provides a licensed school district administrator with over 10 years classroom teaching experience, and who holds certifications in at least four of the following technologies:

  • Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2
  • Google Education Trainer
  • Google Certified Innovator
  • Google Certified Administrator
  • Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert
  • Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer
  • Microsoft Surface Expert

Emerging Technologies works with each participating district to bring about desired shifts in instructional uses of technology. Our coaches will work with district teachers, students, support staff and administrators to embrace new technological trends. Depending on the choice of service level, districts will have the opportunity for on-site professional development as frequently as three days a week.
